Orebic sandy beaches

Orebic is situated on the south-western part of the Peljesac peninsula, in county of Dubrovnik - Croatia. It lies at the bottom of the St. Elias hill (Sv. Ilija 961 m.). This picturesque sunny settlement was the town of sea captains and a sailors Many documents and various articles from its famous seafaring past can be found in the Maritime museum. It offers to its visitors pure environment, untouched nature with hundred years old pines and cypress trees almond trees, agavas and flowers. Long sandy beaches and numerous small bays with crystal clear sea - water.
On the hill above the town there is the Franciscan Monastery (1470) dominating the scenery and housing the museum. Tourists are offered an impressive and memorable view from here to Korcula and unique beauty of this region. So welcome and have a memorable holiday here. It is famous as one of the most sunny Adriatic coast destinations, (2589 sunny hours yearly) as well as warmest Mediterranean holiday resorts both in terms of air temperature (January 9,1°C April 15,0°C July 26,5°C October 18,6°C) and sea temperature (April 15,6°C Julia 22,9°C October 19,6°C). Exposed to the sunshine, it offers unique summer atmosphere. Considering that you're probbably arriving from north, you may decide to take different paths to Ploce (area of Neretva valley), where you can decide would you like to take a car ferry to Trpanj, or take the coastal path trough Neum (BiH) and Ston. Certanly, the most comfortable way to drive from Zagreb to Ploce is to use recently completed and very good motorway
A1 from Zagreb to Split, and then proceed by coastal Jadran tourist road trough Makarska to Ploce.
Alternatively, if you for some reason preffer local roads, you can take the following routes: Zagreb - Karlovac - Plitvice - Gracac - Knin - Sinj - Split - Makarska - Ploce or not so often: Zagreb - Karlovac - Plitvice - Gracac - Knin - Sinj - Trilj - Cista Provo - Sestanovac - Dubci - Makarska - Ploce Both routes are acceptable, but some guests from eastern European countries may find more acceptable path trough Bosnia and Hercegovina towards Neretva valley - (Opuzen, Ploce). Taking the ship to Orebic: Fast coastal line connects Rijeka, Split, Hvar, Korcula and Dubrovnik. Korcula is well connected with Orebic (Peljesac) with frequent car ferry and connected with Orebic and Viganj with passenger boat.

Nin sandy beaches!

Nin is the oldest Croatian royal town and a cradle of the croatian culture. Well preserved cultural monuments, especially old-Croatian chapel from 9th and 12th century are unique in Croatia. It is situated in the shallow lagoon just 18 km north of Zadar, far from traffic and industrial zones. As the sea is shallow and cut into the land, the temperature of the sea is 2-3 degrees higher than in the open sea, which creates higher salinity and aerosol. The whole area around it is an oasis of shallow and long sandy beaches. Beaches are located in a large, from winds protected bay with a magnificent view on mountains. The water is always clean and warm. This is a popular destination of many tourists. The most attractive is nearby Holiday Village in Zaton, offering all kind of sport activities and entertainments including a large disco club. The most known is Ninska laguna beach. It is a long sandy beach ideal for families with children and elderly people. Recently laguna has been put on the top of the list of the most beautiful Dalmatian sandy beaches by German auto club ADAC. The beach is also known for areas with medicinal mud.

On the north, on the way from Petrcane, a lovely fishermen village, to the island of Vir, there is a small settlement of Sabunike. Near Sabunike, especially to the north, one can find many sandy beaches that stretch for several kilometers. After you enter Sabunike you have to take the road to the left to reach sandy beaches which are mostly clothing optional. One of the biggest villages of Zadar Riviera - Privlaka is nearby. It also has some very pretty sandy beaches. Vrsi-Mulo is a village situated on the peninsula, surrounded by the two bays. There are beautiful sandy and pebbly beaches in the circle of 3 km such as: sandy beach Jasenovo, pebbly beach Duboka Draga, sandy beach (with a small part of pebble) St. Jacob and many smaller ones.

The best party beaches in Croatia

Beach Party (1963) was the first of the Beach Party films, aimed at a teen audience.Have you ever heard about Croatia’s party beaches? Certainly they are not so famous as Ibiza, Spain beaches, sometimes called the world's party capital but scrolling this page, you will find out that Croatia is not faraway to become a major Mecca and the best cosmopolitan mix of "clubbers" and holiday makers on the planet. Even it is difficult to chose the best beach in Croatia, I have decided to give you a short summary of those beaches where the real party starts and ends on the beach, no matter if they are a sandy beach, pebble beach, nudist beach or rocky beach. It is more important that you have a good time offering you all kind of sports activities , swimming, live concerts, few cocktails, in company with good looking people, in few words a place to eat, drink and dance. I won’t start with Dubrovnik or Split beaches but with one, probably the only beach in Croatia with Ibiza sense. Zrce party beach

Zrce beach,
Novalja on the island of Pag is a popular summer resort which hosts probably the only beach in Croatia with Ibiza sense. Zrce can be reached form Novalja by car or you can take a small shuttle bus operating during the summer.
Zrce is a long, stretched, white pebbled beach with crystal clear sea. The beach has numerous facilities and three popular open-air clubs offering entertainment until “small” hours. Aquarius and Papaya are outfits from Zagreb's popular clubs, and there is also beach-bar Kalypso.
Aquarius is superbly equipped, it has places to eat, drink and dance, aerobics, homemade ice cream and also a fun pool! Often there are theme parties, bubble parties, live concerts, resident and international DJ's playing hippiest house music. Papaya is arranged in exotic style and it offers bar, restaurant, VIP area, pool, water slide, jacuzzi, after beach parties, cocktail parties, foam parties and dancing all night. Varied music styles are played by resident and international DJ's.

Kalypso is a beach sport bar offering sand volley, darts, badminton, then cocktails, Internet access, fast food, but also all kinds of other fun events including Miss and Mister competition and of course good music until morning.Croatia, Pag beach party - ZRCE video
Rab island party beaches - Barbat, Pudarica beach Rab island hotels On the island of Rab, ten kilometers from the town of Rab and 2 km from the nearest place Barbat, Pudarica beach has a superb beach club named Santos, open all night. It is Rab's first beach club and the right place for anyone seeking good time and parties. Soon after opening it became one of the hottest place on Croatia's coast. http://www.sanantonio-club.com/ Only 10 meters form the sea, well fitted into the nature, mostly natural materials (wood, stone, litter) are used in club's decoration. Pudarica party beach

Rabac party beaches - Girandella beach

Rabac Summer Festival Croatia

Split party beaches - Bacvice beach
Split, Bacvice party beachSplit's main beach is Bacvice, mostly sandy beach famous for Picigin game, a game played with a small ball in shallow water. It is urban, central city beach, situated few minutes walk south past the railway station. The beach has lifeguards, life-saving equipment, first-aid, facilities for disabled, renting facilities, catering facilities, showers, lockers, recycable waste facilities, parking lot. Bacvice is backed by a number of restaurants, café bars and nightclubs all lined up and easy to walk to. The beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag. Best clubes are:

Tropic Club Ecuador - Latin style is the latest now in Split and this venue had adopted it with its palms and fruity cocktails. A chic crowd congregates here to dance and enjoy the view.

O'Hara Klub is a famous hangout with dancing untill dawn, with a full program of live rock and jazz on summer nights

On the other side of Split - Spinut
Tribu Club - originally conceived as a place where modern international trends are followed and set, therby providing the guest with complete entertainment, which makes for a good night out. Frivolous, non-irritating and pleasant sounds in a setting one could only wish for. Namely „TRIBU" keeps up to date in all aspects of quality clubbing, including music and other forms of entertainment. The stylish interior, the huge outdoor terrace with two bars, swimming pool, VIP zone all under shadow of bamboo sun umbrellas lend an exotic atmosphere to the whole club.

Trogir party beaches, Ciovo - Okrug Beach
The Okrug Beach is most popular beach on Trogir riviera. Located 5km from Trogir center, it is easy reachable by road to Okrug Gornji village on Ciovo. Two kilometers long gravel beach is also called Copacabana because of its popularity. The vast number of beach bars and few restaurants keeps this place alive through the night. There is a water-sport center with complete water sports offer for your active summer day.

Vodice party beaches - Plava pebble beach
The famous, 4 km long, well-equipped and well-kept Plava pebble beach extends from Vodice to fishermen village Tribunj. The beach is a mixture of concrete plateaus, pebbly and rocky areas. Along the beach there are plenty of pine trees providing lots of shade. There are also diving schools, windsurfing and other water sport facilities to rent. In the eastern part of the Vodice there are the hotel complexes Olimpia. Near the hotel there is a sports centre and a popular beach. Beside for families, Vodice is very popular among younger people who appreciate its variety of beaches, accommodation and nightlife which includes Hacienda open-air club, one of the hottest clubs in Croatia.

Hvar town party beaches
Favorite Hvar's beaches are scattered on nearby Pakleni islands. There one can find rocky and pebble beaches, nudist beaches, but the real party begins after swimmers return to the town. You will find some of the best bars and clubs on the Dalmatian coast in the fantastic ambiance of the town of Hvar. Explore the chic korzo that rules Hvar town at night. Right on the harbor, Carpe Diem cafe/club is situated and its after beach parties are famous. Summer, beautiful people, few cocktails and soon you'll find yourself doing something tomorrow you'll rather forget. It is a place to see and to be seen.

Dubrovnik party beaches - Banje beach and Copocabana If you are looking for Dubrovnik beach, my favorite party beaches are: Banje beach and Kopakabana ( Copacabana) Beach near Babin Kuk. Dubrovnik beach "Banje" is well known pebble beach with a beautiful views over Dubrovnik Old Town. It is located in front of the eastern entrance (Ploce Gate) to Dubrovnik Old Town bellow luxurious Dubrovnik hotels Excelsior and Argentina. The beach has it's reception, restaurant and cafe bar on the water front with often snobbish clientelle. Here you can rent your deck chair and parasol, jet ski, speed boat, and god knows what else - it keeps changing from summer to summer. Set at the beachfront overlooking the most spectacular view of the Old City of Dubrovnik it offers all the luxuries a visitor could ever dream of: private sandy beach, trendy bar and stylish restaurant lounging the afternoon or night club for partying night away.
